Dipti Sahu is Program Director, Microsoft based out of Bellevue, USA driving sales, program & account alignment between Unify2 and Microsoft Corporation. She also manages Unify2’s worldwide community outreach, go to market programs and value proposition assets.
Most recently, Dipti worked at Advaiya (http://www.advaiya.com/) as a Technical Marketing Manager, developing marketing strategies and go to market BoM for Microsoft Unified Communications including competitive product strategies (Cisco compete). She was focused on evangelizing unified communications with partners and customers, creating collateral, tools and training videos for Microsoft field and partners to assist them in effectively building their Microsoft Unified Communications pipeline – particularly conferencing and enterprise voice. She has authored numerous pieces of content that have been published internally for the field and externally for the TDM/BDM audience.
Before Advaiya, Dipti had an 11 year career in Microsoft Product Engineering, Product Management and finally, Enterprise Sales as an Account Technology Strategist in the US field.
As an Account Technology Strategist, Dipti managed Microsoft EPG customers across many industries providing Sales, Technical, and Architectural support for enterprise solutions. She had to articulate the business value of Microsoft solutions and how these investments enabled future business capability. Dipti built and maintained Trusted Advisor relationships with senior IT executives (CIOs, CTOs, VPs) and key Enterprise Architects (Director Level and higher) in order to sell and drive the adoption of Microsoft products and solutions. Representative results achieved include :
- Achieved highest YoY growth of 18% and 19% in the (US) St. Louis region in FY08 and FY09, respectively
- Managed up to 20 Enterprise accounts with a quota of up to ~$20 million per year
- Converted 5 Lotus Notes compete customers to the Microsoft platform
- Orchestrated several “firsts” in the St. Louis region:
- First Lotus Notes customer to use Microsoft Online (case study)
- One of the first customers to do a large scale migration to Microsoft Online (case study)
- First customer to deploy Windows Vista 100% (case study)
- First customer to deploy Hyper-V in production via the Virtualization RDP (case study)
- First 2 customers to deploy SAP on SQL vs. Oracle
- Convinced a customer to deploy Dynamics CRM (case study)
- Represented North Central District in the Notes/EDS/Google Compete win at TechReady 2009 (only female presenter)
- Delivered 3 new Enterprise Agreements, 3 new Business Productivity Online Services, 2 Notes Compete, and 3 Google Compete Wins in FY09
Dipti also has 6 years of experience working in the Microsoft Exchange Engineering Team on the Deployment team where she gained experience with design, implementation, management and assessment of Exchange server infrastructure. Consequently, she created and ran several Customer Connection Programs to provide Microsoft enterprise customers with the resources, experience and support needed to plan and test Exchange deployment strategies.
Dipti has a B.S. in Computer Science and Statistics from University of Zimbabwe and M.S. in Management Information Systems from University Of Arizona. She started off her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Senior Associate before transitioning to Microsoft.
