Rob's Bio:

Robert is responsible for the Unify2, Unified Communications products and Communications Enabled Business Process (CEBP) solutions,with focus on unlocking the power of software based communications and enabling communications within an organization’s business processes.

Robert brings over ten years of Microsoft experience where Robert was a Group Program Manager for the Unified Communications team at Microsoft. At Microsoft he drove the roadmap, technical feature set, and execution for the OCS Server including Live Communications Server 2003, Live Communications Server 2005, Office Communications Server 2007 and 2007 R2, and Lync server. Robert led the OCS Program Management team responsible for the feature set, feature design and technical specifications for significant portions of the OCS Server.

During his time at Microsoft, Robert was responsible for a wide range of scenarios and technology, including delivery of OCS Voice infrastructure, Communicator Web Access, Mobility Infrastructure, and Presence and Instant Messaging solutions. Most recently, Robert led technical roadmap and delivery for the successful Unified Communications Managed API (UCMA), including deep executive engagements with strategic partners and software vendors building innovative solutions.

Robert has 18 years of delivering communications solutions targeting the enterprise. Prior to joining Microsoft, Robert was a senior member within Vocaltec, the early pioneer of Internet phone. At Vocaltec Robert led a team designing and delivering an Enterprise real time communications user experience.

Robert has a B.Sc. degree in Computing and Informatics from the University of Plymouth, United Kingdom.
