Rokas's Bio:
Rokas is Software Development Engineer at Unify2 Europe based in Zurich, Switzerland where he builds Unified Communications products and solutions based on Microsoft's Unified Communications Managed API. Rokas's main focus is designing and building distributed highly available server applications.
Rokas brings four years of software development experience at Microsoft. Rokas worked on Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 R2 and Microsoft Lync 2010. Rokas was the main contributor and component owner of Microsoft Lync Conferencing and Microsoft Lync Call Park servers. Prior to Microsoft, Rokas was Research Associate at Databases and Information Systems group, Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich, Switzerland. His research interests were in XML Query Engines and Data Streams.
Rokas has a Master of Sciences in Computer Science from Vilnius University, Lithuania.
